With much persistence I blasted through week one and week two of the codecademy lessons. I was done on Sunday, but didn’t write this post until today). I was overjoyed at the times when I got the correct answer on my first try and knew exactly why it was correct. There are a few times when I completely bungled the entire operation and used the Q&A forums to scan for advice.
I’m still having difficulty remembering certain terms. So, I am slowly making a reference list which I will eventually post (once I start it. :P) .
Overall, Syntax is a problem for me, since I have the typing skills of a 1970s reporter (I mostly use two fingers.) and therefore make a lot of little mistakes. It seems my writing tendency of forgetting articles (words like a, is, was, etc) extends to programing since I am always forgetting the equivalent symbols ( brackets (), quotes “”, semicolon ; etc).
This week I am setting out to complete week three and do a few of the additional activities
